Sugar Mountain Resort provides year around recreational activities minutes from Sugar Pointe. It is the largest ski and snowboarding resort in North Carolina and its 115 acres, 20 slopes and trails and 1200 vertical drop provide plenty of winter ski excitement.  Tubing, snow shoe adventures and ice skating offer variety.  In summer the resort offers scenic lift rides to the summit for hikers and downhill bikers.  Family fun activities like Oktoberfest are always a huge success.
